"Perle vom Beckgold. A 7 1/2 year old substantial black and tan of good type. She could be a little firmer in motion with a better follow through. She placed second in the Veterans Class and was also entered for Best of Breed competition. Once she was defeated in the Veterans Class she became ineligible to compete for Best of Breed. For this reason when she once again entered the ring. I refused to judge her against the other eligible bitiches, but felt that she deserved a select rating."
