"Dr. Bob write that he bought "Misty" at 4 1/2 years of age, sight unseen, from Virginia Vaughn as a fountain bitch for his kennel.  She quickly became a part of the family.  She was a "firey Tom-boy" and always displayed the true German Shepherd Dog temperament.  Although Misty died at only 8 years of age she was still young at heart and played and romped right up to the time of her death.  Like all those which are really loved, she left an empty place when she went."
