"The quality-packed Open Bitch Class was truly a joy, and competition away down the line was extremely keen with (of necessity) some topnotch bitches not placing. Out in front (and staying there) was the elegant black and tan Bessie vom Pilsgersberg owned by Dr. Eleanor A. Waskow and John F. LaRou. A substantial bitch but truly feminie, well balanced but not over doen in any quarter, she was true and fliud in motion. With her easy and tireless gait, she finally took a well deserved Winners Bitch award."
