"This year our highest living Register
of Merit dam is that vivacious and beautiful bitch Cobert's Melissa. Her
467 points have been earned by 5 progeny, 4 of whom are Champions. The
top winning Working dog in 1971and 1972, Ch Lakeside's Gilligan's Island,
was from her first litter and she had 2 Champion daughters from this litter
also. From her second breeding came this year's Grand Victor Lakeside's
Harrigan. Melissa is in-bred on that great producing ROM dog, Ch Bernd
vom Kallengarten. She is co-owned by Daniel Dwier and myself."

Dam for the second year. Melissa now has 5 Champion progeny and 2 winning
offspring. She has one son who has earned his ROM title and a 2nd son
who will be ROM for 1974. The lovely Melissa is 7 years young and her tremendous
vitality has been passed on to her progeny. Melissa is in-bred on Bernd vom
Kallengarten and all of her winning progeny are from breeding combinations which
include Frohlich's Elsa v Grunes Tahl. Dan Dwier and I are justly proud of our
