#19 Sire for 2001~ Futurity/Maturity System "Magellan is a large black and red dog. He is very masculine, with a beautiful large head and an excellent shoulder. He can really cover the ground and has a lot of presence in the show ring. We did not show him early but held him out while his litter brother, Cortez, finished his championship. When we launched Magellan's campaign, he was shown seven times in American Bred, winning five majors. He has won several Best of Breeds and was invited to the Eukanuba Classic even though he was only shown in the first half of 2001. Magellan has great temperament like his sire and, at three years of age, is getting some very nice offspring into the show rings. There are several with major points who are well on their way to their championships. The best is yet to come."
Orange Coast GSD --- April 6th, 2003 --- Best of Breed "I judged the Long Beach Specialty at this same site 4 ½ years ago and feel in love with a six-month-old puppy. We bonded and I tried to steal him and take him home with me. No such luck! I was absolutely thrilled to see him again. Shown in beautiful condition he is the picture of what a male German Shepherd should be. Masculine, strong in mind, bone, body, and pigment. A great head with dark eyes, good ears, and a confident expression. He covers ground with a long, low sweeping motion on correct feet and pasterns. Clean coming and going. His shoulder is one to study. I still want to take him home!" ~Joan Fox 2003 Register of Merit Sire
