"A very substantial, deep bodied black and reddish tan; richly pigmented; very masculine; great feet; correct, long sloping croup. Dark eye, massive bone. Left ear is soft, although ear set is good. Moving, quite spectacular; good back, drive and transmission although with a little kick up. He moves with head level, a level, slightly sloping topline from his head to croup. Excellent front extension, fishining close to the ground. He excelled in overall type. In the Winners Class, he never faltered; head down; full extension."
