"Maz was a very plush, beautiful puppy--high withered and elegant--and very
angulated front and rear. His rear angulation was so extreme that you could
get dizzy watching him go away until he was about eight months old (his
more extreme progeny often go through this stage too). However, it was still
very easy to see tremendous suspension and a very springy, long stride.
Soon after this age, Maz had tightened up enough to be shown and go Best
Puppy at his first two shows--local Arizona Specialties. He was Reserve
Winners Dog at one of them.
Maz was a vivacious, fun-loving puppy who liked to play ball more than anything.
He and Sirocco and Ariel played ball together for hours every day. People
were always surprised that he and his sire got along so well, but they did--even
after Maz started getting bitches to breed of his own.
When Maz was about a year old he went back to Northern California to live
with his breeders. They became his co-owners, and Maz became a permanent
member of their household. We proudly share his accomplishments and know
he's been happy in his home and role as a number one male dog at Covy-Tucker
Hill."

and good going away. His sidegait is smooth and rhythmic and he showed
great willingness to go"
