"Medium to large male with a well proportioned outline displaying good secondary sex characteristics. He hsows a slight overcast in topline but has a strong back. In motion, he is very smooth both on a tight lead and has a good extension. Perhaps bit more follow through would enhance this animal."

"Large black and tan masculine male with a nicely proportioned outline showing good front and rear angulation. He carries a good topline but shows a slight movement in back when going loose. Coordinated in motion with good extension, looking better on a tight lead when going loose he loses some of his underdrive and shows less efficiency in follow through. Ligamentation going should be a bit better, overall an appealing animal with excellent qualities."

"Durango is a medium to large dog, masculine, deep bodied, plush with deep pigmentation. In movement, he has a fluid suspension with ideal angulation at both ends. He has a scissors bite and a full mouth. Durango has a fearless temperament and is highly intelligent. However, Durango resents the enviorment at dog shows and the eternal running around in a circle with no apparent goal; he is quite animated in more challenging situations such as at home where he helps herd cattel and sheep."
