"A 4 1/2 year old richly pigmented, strong black and tan of beautiful type. He displayed wonderful temperament. I'd like to see a little better layback of shoulder which would give him a bit more reach. At times, while on a tight lead, he appeared slightly roached. However, this disappeared on a loose lead. All in all, a very worthy representative of the breed."

"Falco of Thunder Rock. A 6 1/2 year old black and tan of good type and general appearance. For his age still an eager mover, though lacking front reach and displaying a noticeable roach. Very sound in motion both front and rear."
