"Hilde lived her first five years with her breeders, during which time she won 13 championship points, needing one major to finish.  At five she was offered for sale.  As months passed and no one wanted a five year old dog, the need to find a new home became desperate.  Art Strametz knew Hilde --- her lovely temperament and her producing potential.  He took her and gave her affection and security until her death a few months ago; during that time he bred her twice.  "Truly and outstanding bitch in every respect" is his comment on her."
