"In 1959 Debbie arrived in Arizona from Alabama to become the Van Dyke's 3rd Shepherd and first bitch. Now at 8 years of age they say of her, "there is always that special dog to be first in one's heart and life; for us that is Debbie. Though smaller in size and older in years, she plays with all our dogs and pups." From her 4 litters, all sired by Ch. Ulk Wikingerblut have come 2 champions, 2 point winners, 6 Reserve winners, 4 Obedience title holders, 16 class winners. She is the ONLY Shepherd--dog or bitch--in Arizona to hold the ROM title."
