GSDC of Rochester, Inc. --- May 9th, 1987 --- Winners Bitch & Best of Winners ".. this is a large, sable bitch with adequate pigment. Her secondary sex characteristics were excellent. She was very feminine. Temperament was strong. The first impression was one of a strong, agile, well muscled animal with smooth curves and muscular fitness. Structure in stand: her head is cleanly chiseled and strong. Ears were moderately pointed and erect. Eyes were dark, almond shaped and of moderate size. Body proportions, height to length, were good. Topline was strong and hard. Her withers were higher than and sloping into the back which is a little long but very strong and firm. Croup was long. Forequarter (upper arm) is long and the scapula (shoulder lay back) is at 90 degrees, with hindquarters that are very broad, well muscled, and at 90 degrees. Pasterns were strong, with feet that were short and compact. Her pads were thick and nails short. Dentition is a correct scissors bite. Structure in motion (gait) was over reaching, smooth, powerful, coordinated and in balance. Coming and going were both clean. Even though she was slightly out of coat, she was in excellent condition and ready to work. Foot timing: 8+" ~ Dr. Carmen Battaglia
