" CH. MIRHEIM'S ABBEY is our first star with 85 R.O.M.
points. Abbey is a Lance daughter out of a Canadian bitch Ch. Kingsdown's
Amber. I believe she is the first Canadian Bred bitch to have made
her R.O.M. title and so we congratulate her breeder Mary Vurma on this
great achievement. Abbey is again a combination of the Bernd-Lance cross
and when she was in-bred to her sire Lance she produced two R.O.M. sires
Ch. Zeto and Zeus. Her other winning progeny were from a breeding
to her half brother Ch. Beau of Fran-Jo, a Lance son. Congratulations
to her owners Joan and Fran Ford who have bred so many excellent Shepherds."
