and exactly my style of dog. Very masculine, Large dark black and tan.
Very handsome dog. Gorgeous head, strong ears, long neck, solid back,
nice croup. Good angulation at both ends. He is very close to the Standard
in structure. He is an excellent side-gaiter, reaching close to the ground
with a
strong drive. He is very clean coming and going. Excellent temperament.

bi-color. A bit higher on leg than #1 and #2. A very smooth and coordinated
side mover showing a firm back and overall good ligamentation. Could be
a bit better going.

"The Beat went on and on -- with verve and soundness. This dark, amsculine dog had a great day! The best day I have ever seen him have. He asked for the win, worked hard, and could not be denied. He looked wonderful on a loose lead. Outstanding from the tips of his ears through a long strong neck, a hard back, and a correctly sloping croup. He moved cleanly coming and going. His type is tribute to his pedigree. In a time period that should have us all looking for correct push-off through the rear, his movement is an asset to the breed. Kent Boyles piloted Bono to this great title in co-operation with David Kromray who conditioned him. A great team effort won again. A moment in my judging career I shall savor forever!"
