"Sierra's Hepburn of Merivern is our top star this year.  She is another top producing daughter sired by Ch. Eko-Lan's Paladen ROM.  Her dam is Riva of Maple Manor who is line-bred on Ch. Dipadon's Dasher ROM  Dasher is a Ch. Fortune of Arbywood son, so Hepburn has three lines to Fortune. Her winning progeny are by three different sires.  Her two Champion daughters, Ch. Emerheim's Deri of Merivern and Ch. Glisando's Dee of Merivern are sired by Ch. Kubistraum's Kane ROM, a Reno son, who is heavily line-bred on Ch. Bernd v. Kallengarten with one line to Fortune.  These two Champion bitches are a result of the combining of very compatible bloodlines.  Hepburn's third Champion is Miklin's Wodin Hale-O who is by Ch. Nocturne's Hale of Krisselhof, again combing Bernd lines successfully but this time with another line to Fortune through Lance.  Her fourth winning progeny is Merivern's Mr. Cool of Glisando who is a son of Ch. Alpine's Bullet of Pinebeach.  This breeding brings in Paladen again through Bullet's sire GV Ch.
