"Medium-large dog, with excellent male characteristics, good shoulder, strong back, nice croup and strong rear. Good bone and substance, and depth of body. Excellent pigment, eager, willing side mover, covering a good deal of ground, with excellent transmission through his back; clean coming and going. Even at this early age, he has "Champion" written all over him. Placed first on excellent gait; better back, croup and feet. This class had good depth of quality, unlike earlier class, and we should see a few of these animals completing their titles."
