Personally I feel a champion should be kept in condition to compete after they finish. From this excellent class I selected Ch Von Purdum's Hidalgo, a very impressive dog, very masculine, clean coming and going. His ear set could be improved. He covers a great deal of ground with little effort. He was well groomed and in top condition to compete and win."
