THE REGISTER OF MERIT SYSTEM 

1.       In order for a sire to become Register of Merit, the following requirements must be met:

a.        His owner must be a member of the GSDC of America, Inc.

b.        His point total must be 100 or more.

c.        The points must be earned by 10 or more progeny.

d.        Five progeny must achieve the title of AKC Champion, or the Parent Club designation

Of ROM: the remainder must have won at least a major reserve.

2.       In order for a bitch to become Register of Merit, the following requirements must be met:

a.        Her owner must be a member of the GSDC of America, Inc.

b.        Her point total must be 40 or more.

c.        The points must be earned by 4 or more progeny.

d.        Two progeny must achieve the title of Champion, or the Parent Club designation

Of  ROM: the remainder must have won at least a major reserve.

CDX (COMPANION DOG EXCELLENT) 10 POINTS                               TD (TRACKING DOG) 5 POINTS

UD (UTILITY DOG) 15 POINTS                                                                      TDX (TD EXCELLENT) 10 POINTS

UDX (UD EXCELLENT)  5 POINTS                             VST (VARIABLE SURFACE TRACKER) 10 POINTS

OTCH (OBEDIENCE TRIAL CHAMPION) 10 POINTS

TEMPERAMENT CERTIFICATION (TC) 5 POINTS

 HT (HERDING TESTED) 3 POINTS                            PT (PRE-TRIAL TESTED) 4 POINTS

HS (HERDING STARTED) 5 POINTS                  HI (HERDING INTERMEDIATE) 10 POINTS

HX (HERDING EXCELLENT) 15 POINTS         HCH (HERDING CHAMPION) 10 POINTS

 NA (NOVICE AGILITY)  5 POINTS                             NAJ (NOVICE JUMPERS WITH WEAVES) 3 POINTS

OA (OPEN AGILITY)  10 POINTS                        OAJ (OPEN JUMPERS WITH WEAVES) 8 POINTS

AX (AGILITY EXCELLENT) 15 POINTS            EAJ (EXCELLENT JUMPERS W.WEAVES)13 PTS.

MX (MASTER AGILITY EXCELLENT) 5 POINTS

MXJ (MASTER AGILITY JUMPERS WITH WEAVES) 5 POINTS

PLEASE NOTE:  AT LEAST A MAJOR RESERVE IS REQUIRED TO HAVE WORKING COMPETITION AWARDS COMPILED.
