SEMINARS TO BE HELD AT THE 2008 NATIONALS

• Judges Seminar

  • When:  Tuesday 11/4/08 Beaumont Texas in conjunction with the GSDCA National Specialty

  • Time:  Noon to 5 PM

  • Where:  Ford Park, Beaumont Texas - VIP Room

  • Presenters:  Helen Gleason and Dr. Didier Ardoin.  Presentations will include a thorough discussion of the GSD Standard and "How to Conduct a Temperament Evaluation of the GSD" by Jim York, Chair of the Temperament Committee.  Videos, slides and "hands on" demos will be used.

• Education Seminars-Wednesday 7 PM
  AKC- Bobbie Birdsong-How to put on a Dog Show-the first 35 GSDCA approved clubs that contact Dick Jones 772-223-1776 will be approved to attend free of charge and all related materials will be provided by the AKC without cost with the money coming from the Education budget. After 35 reservations have been received there will be a charge of $35 for additional clubs wishing to attend.(extensive description to follow)

  We have asked an excellent exciting speaker Pat Trotter of Carmel California to talk with us on this subject. Pat is a well known breeder and highly acclaimed judge. (Click here to see her biography)
